                                More info

25) 14:30h – 15:15h Le temps de la confiance chez les patients souffrant …

Anne-Françoise Allaz, Matteo Coen (f)

The time of trust for patients with chronic pain

Lecture language French

The treatment of people suffering from chronic pain benefits from a long-term approach that makes it possible to build a relationship of trust. The time of trust is the common thread running through our symposium. Trust is often difficult to achieve for patients who have experienced trauma or neglect in their childhood and who often feel that their suffering is not sufficiently acknowledged.
The first lecture is dedicated to the links between traumatic events and chronic pain and how a basis of trust can be created between a patient and their therapist so that the various other therapeutic approaches can unfold.
The importance of legitimizing and accepting the complaint will be emphasized.
The second lecture will focus on the benefits of hypnosis for patients with chronic pain, in particular how to provide them with a ‘safe place’ and enable them to experience a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Current evidence and thinking in these areas will be presented to facilitate application for practitioners.

                                More info

26) 15:30h – 16:00h Panel discussion (i, f, d, e)

Panel discussion (i, f, d, e)

                                   To the program overview

["post-16004","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
