\n New course starting in November 2025.\r\nChronic pain conditions affect 18 – 20% of the population in Switzerland. Our course focuses primarily on the large group of patients with primary chronic pain (ICD-11). Our curriculum aims to contribute to differentiated and personalized pain diagnosis and treatment. This is based on neurobiological findings on central pain perception, in which psychosocial contextual factors and biographical imprints interact. \r\n\r\n31-39 credits SAPPM; 31-39 credits SPS <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Curriculum Psychosomatic Pain Medicine <\/h2>\n \n

Target group:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doctors with an existing or aspiring specialization in psychosomatic medicine (SAPPM). Doctors with a focus on pain medicine. <\/p>\n

Psychologists with a focus on pain therapy.<\/p>\n

Place of implementation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanatorium Kilchberg, Alte Landstrasse 70, 8802 Kilchberg<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n

4 x 4 lessons on theory and practice.<\/p>\n

2 optional additional modules of 4 lessons each on \u201cDifferential diagnostic treatment planning\u201d (Module A) and on \u201cNeurobiologically based pain psychotherapy\u201d (Module B). <\/p>\n

Supervision (in small groups) 5 x 1.5 hours for diagnostics and 5 x 1.5 hours for therapy.<\/p>\n
