Pain medicine

New course begins in April 2027. Chronic pain affects 18–20% of the population in Switzerland. Our course focuses primarily on the large group of patients with primary chronic pain (ICD-11). Our curriculum aims to contribute to a differentiated and personalized approach to pain diagnosis and treatment. This is based on neurobiological insights into central pain perception, in which psychosocial contextual factors and biographical influences interact. SAPPM: 34–44 credits SPS: to be determined
